Comprehensive Office Relocation and Installation for Portland Title Firm

Portland Office Relocation and Installation

A full-scale office relocation was completed for a title company in Portland, OR, involving coordinated decommissioning, transport, and installation across multiple workspace types. The project required structured planning to transition furniture and equipment from the current site to a new location while preparing the new office for immediate use.

Decommissioning and Asset Management

At the original office, crews used a systematic knockdown-and-labeling process to keep the inventory safe and make reinstallation easier. The project included eight 6×8 Haworth Compose workstations and nine U-shaped private office setups. There was also a small conference table, a 42-inch round table, five lobby chairs, two lobby tables, five storage racks, 19 task chairs, 20 guest chairs, 16 conference chairs, and some 3H lateral files that were taken out and made ready for transport.

We took care to keep the panels intact, protect the work surface, and organize the hardware during the disassembly of each workstation. We wrapped and stacked the task seating and guest chairs to ensure safe loading. We ensured the stability of the storage racks and lateral files during their relocation. The team kept a clear chain of custody from the time they took it away until they delivered it.

Transportation and New Site Preparation

All of the assets were packed up, moved, and brought to the new Portland office. When they got there, the crews worked together to protect the floors, set up staging areas, and confirm the layout. The approved floor plan was used to place the workstations, bringing back the 6×8 Haworth Compose layout in the open office area. We rebuilt the private offices so that the work surfaces were level, overhead storage was provided, and the cables were organized.

There were also talks about the conference and collaborative spaces. A new 48×120 two-piece conference table was brought to the main meeting room, put together, and set up. Also, a U-shaped manager’s private office setup with a sit-stand base was installed, allowing the executive space’s height to be adjusted. Six stools for the break room were brought in and placed to finish off the shared amenities area.

Completed Workspace Transformation

The end result shows that the space was set up neatly and professionally. There are clean panel lines and consistent alignment on open workstations. Private offices have built-in storage and high-end finishes. The conference and lobby areas are excellent for both client meetings and working together with other employees. The move and setup went smoothly, with little disruption, so the title company could resume operations in a fully functional space.
