In this recent project to install office furniture, we supported a law firm in Miami, FL, with the full delivery and setup of modern workstations, private offices, and collaborative spaces. From the moment we reviewed the floor plan, it was clear that precision and sequencing would play a major role in the outcome. Legal offices require both functionality and a polished presentation, and our goal was to create an environment that reflects professionalism while supporting daily workflow.

Coordinating Delivery and Layout Execution

We began by receiving and staging all the furniture components: U-shaped desks, L-shaped desks, benching systems, and storage units. Coordination was required due to the use of several types of workstations and shared spaces. All items were installed in accordance with the approved layout to provide consistency across private offices, open workstations, and meeting areas.

We’ve built nine L-shaped desks and a U-shaped desk for executive use, all of which are positioned to make the most of power access and window placement for usability. The workspace also included three boomerang benching stations and two straight benching stations that needed to be carefully aligned to ensure clean sightlines and equal spacing between users.

Building Functional Workspaces

Once the installation was underway, the focus shifted to functionality. All workstations were fitted with dual monitor arms to meet modern work requirements and were paired with mobile pedestals for storage. These details are not just add-ons. They directly affect comfort and efficiency throughout the working day.

In the open office areas, we installed task chairs and spaced them out appropriately so that they can move around without disturbance. The idea was to create a layout that would support both focused work and collaboration, but without making the space feel too cramped.

Conference and Collaboration Areas

The conference room was a key element in this project. We set up a ten-foot conference table with ten conference chairs, providing a space for client meetings and internal discussions. The table was arranged to provide lighting and access points for technology use during meetings.

Other collaborative spaces were round tables and guest seating. These spaces create spaces for smaller discussions and informal meetings. Each element was positioned to create a smooth visual flow through the office.

Finishing Details That Define the Space

Reception and waiting areas were completed with the addition of a buffet credenza, coffee table, and end tables. These features enhance the welcoming feel for clients without detracting from the professional tone expected in a legal setting.

We made final adjustments to all furniture to ensure it was level, secure, and met design expectations. Neat cable management and careful placement of monitor arms added to a finished look that feels purposeful and organized.
