RT Specialty, a leader in wholesale distribution of specialty insurance products and services, recently upgraded its Tacoma, WA office with a comprehensive office furniture installation by Quality Installers. The project scope was extensive, enhancing the workspace with a blend of functionality and modern design.
The installation included four 6′ x 6′ workstations, each featuring a sit-stand main desk, promoting ergonomic comfort and adaptability for the employees. A similar 6′ x 6′ workstation with a static worktop was also added for tasks requiring a more stable surface. Collaborative efforts were given a boost with three ‘U’ group desks and three ‘L’ shaped desks, both configurations including sit-stand main desks, fostering a dynamic working environment.
Two sit-stand freestanding desks were strategically placed for flexible working spots. Meetings and conferences were given a dedicated space with the addition of a 9’W x 4’D boat-shaped conference table, surrounded by eight comfortable conference chairs. To complement the conference area, a 5’W buffet credenza was installed, providing a functional space for storing meeting essentials.
Administrative efficiency was enhanced with a free-standing two-drawer lateral file, while the break room was equipped with a 36”R bar height table and four matching stools, creating a casual space for relaxation and informal meetings. An additional touch of comfort was introduced with a Wayfair recliner.
To complete the setup, eleven task chairs were distributed among the individual workstations, with six guest chairs and eight additional conference chairs to accommodate visitors and staff during meetings. This thoughtful combination of furniture fosters a welcoming and productive atmosphere, aligning with RT Specialty’s commitment to providing an optimal working environment for its team.
