A commercial facility in Key West, FL, recently underwent a structured furniture delivery and installation project designed to support administrative, collaborative, and conference functions. The scope included receiving, staging, delivering, and assembling a full range of furnishings for private offices, conference rooms, and shared areas. Each space was prepared to support daily operations while maintaining a cohesive, professional interior layout.
Coordinated Receiving and Staging Process
Before installation, all the furniture parts were received and put in order. The items included a 36-inch round four-point base table and 24 Lumin armless chairs with wheels, allowing meeting and collaboration areas to be set up in different ways. Two powered conference tables, each 42 inches by 84 inches, were brought to the right conference rooms. To ensure the power worked together, these tables were placed to align with the floor plans and electrical access points.
There were also 18 Chirom Ultra 24/7 task chairs for long-term use and six Inertia stools with adjustable arms for flexible workstation support. A Compositum club chair was placed in a lounge area to provide a more elegant place to sit while people waited or were welcomed. Five Mezzanine square end tables, every 24 inches by 24 inches by 18 inches, were set up to accompany the seating groups.
Private Offices and Workstation Assembly
Two U-shaped desks, 30 inches wide and 72 inches long, were combined in private offices. Each setup had a bridge, a credenza, a hutch, a tackboard, a task light, a box file pedestal, a file pedestal, and a wardrobe storage unit. To install it, the work surfaces, overhead storage, and built-in lighting parts had to be lined up perfectly. Four Focus side chairs were put in these offices for visitors to use.
A round bistro table was installed to facilitate informal meetings and break-room use. Throughout the building, crews ensured the flooring protection stayed in place during assembly and that all packaging materials were removed when the job was done.
Finished Interior Environment
The finished project shows a clean, organized workspace that would be appropriate for a professional setting on the coast. Conference rooms have powered tables and comfortable chairs. Private offices have built-in lighting and full storage options. One person or a group can use the flexible seating and table arrangements in shared spaces.
